The chest measurement figures below are for half of the chest measurement, ie. with the shirt laid flat, it has been measured across the front only, from one armpit across to the other so that a measurement of 21.5" means the garment measures 43" around all of the chest. This is a good way of comparing something that you have that fits you, with these measurements below, so as to select the correct size.
