The real McCoy! Unbelievably warm, this heavyweight sweater is knitted in a traditional fisherman's rib stitch which means that more wool is used to make each garment. Made by a small family firm in Donegal and knitted in 100% pure new wool, this really is a beautiful Irish sweater.

Bought a roll-neck sweater. Not a cheap product (£90 ish) but beautifully made and not a trace of plastic. So while not 'cheap' it is excellent value for money for something which is properly made, lovely to wear and will last for a very long time.
Highly recommended with a bonus of excellent customer service.

Bought the Donegal Fisherman's Rib Polo Neck Sweater. Beautiful looking. Lovely craftsmanship. Received it just in time to sport it off for today's weather of 46 (8c).
The staff too are very quick to respond to question and extremely helpful with fittings and details. I'll have to purchase another style.
The sweater is comfortably heavy and warm and you instantly develop an affinity for it. After wearing it, it feels like an old friend that you don't want to leave, preferring it over other sweaters in your wardrobe. Very practical and stylish in a subtle way. My only disappointment is that the price seems to have been reduced by £10 after I bought it. Anyway, I recommend it as a good investment.

I ordered a Donegal Fisherman's Rib Polo Neck sweater from Irish Inspiration for my husband a week before Christmas. Not only did the sweater arrive in good time for Christmas but my husband is absolutely delighted with it. It is of very good quality with a lovely weight to it. I will definitely be coming back for more.
