A favourite old movie for many. The Quiet Man starring John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara and Barry Fitzgerald, and directed by John Ford, was set on the Isle of Innisfree Co. Sligo, but was actually mostly filmed around Cong in Co. Mayo. It told the story of Sean Thornton who, after accidentally killing an opponent during a fight, moves from the United States to Ireland to reclaim his family's farm. And this superbly printed embossed metal wall plaque features one of the iconic advertising posters for the movie and would grace any pub, bar-room, kitchen, living or gamesroom wall.
