Irish Perfume, Fragrances

Another gorgeous Irish gift idea. Very original, this range of beautiful Irish fragrances is from The Burren, a wonderful area just south of Galway Bay in Ireland. Here Mediterranean and Arctic Alpine flowers grow at mountain and maritime levels side by side. Each of the fragrances has an individual floral influence and are distilled, mixed and blended using traditional methods over a six month period and then hand bottled and packaged at the Perfumery. They are based on pure botanical extracts and contain no parabens, no sodium laurel sulphate, no animal derivatives and no GMO ingredients.

Mucros Weaving Workshop is situated in the grounds of Muckross House, just 3.6miles/6km from the picturesque town of Killarney. Under the guidance of John Cahill, the Master Weaver, a small team of 12 people, have been producing quality woven items for over 20 years and supply many national retailers as well as exporting to America and Canada. They produce beautiful handwoven wraps, scarves, capes, hats and gloves as well as a range of accessories made from lambswool, cotton, linen, mohair and even alpaca.

What a sensuous and seductive combination....50% merino wool, 30% linen and 20% silk. You can imagine the feel of this - light, airy and sheer..quite amazing and totally unique. Carefully, meticulously and very skilfully handwoven using 19th century looms, these very beautiful scarves are made by a husband and wife team in the west coast of Ireland, County Clare to be exact. Pure magic.

Just three colours are available.....Turquoise, Orange and Grey...all measure 195cm (77ins) by 30cm (12ins).
